Ambizione Energy grants: Swiss National Science Foundation 1770 views

Ambizione Energy grants are aimed at young researchers who wish to conduct an independently planned basic research project in the field of energy; the project may or may not be use-inspired. The grants are provided by Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). The grants consist of the researcher’s salary and project funds.

Duration: 03 years (maximum)

Grant Value: average gross salary will be around CHF 105’000/annum

Requirements

  • Applicant must hold Doctorate degree
  • At the submission deadline: submission of application generally up to five years after obtaining the doctorate (PhD)
  • Applicant must have high-level publications, particularly in energy research.
  • At the submission deadline: postdoctoral research activities for at least 12 months at a different higher education institution than the one where the doctoral thesis was written.
