Study in Australia’s Northern Territory Scholarships (ANTS) are provided by the Northern Territory government and education providers to eligible talented students from India, Indonesia, China, Japan, Korea, Nepal, Philippines, Timor-Leste & Vietnam to study in Australia’s Northern Territory.
No of Fellowships: Up to 12 scholarships (three in vocational education and nine in higher education) will be available at Charles Darwin University in 2017.
Application Procedure
- Complete the Study in Australia’s Northern Territory Scholarship Application Form from the Northern Territory government’s StudyNT website (See the link below)
- Submit it with your application to international@cdu.edu.au.
Qualifications / Eligibility / Conditions
- A demonstrated record of academic excellence, community engagement and leadership.
- Must meet the NT education provider’s academic and English entry requirement.
- Must have applied and obtained an offer of admission to a Northern Territory education provider for semester two 2017.
- Must not be already studying in the Northern Territory, or with a Northern Territory Education Provider.
- Must not hold any other scholarship.
- Must have submitted a completed application for the scholarship by 1 May 2017 for commencement in semester 2 2017
- Applicants must not hold current Australian or New Zealand Citizenship, or Australian Permanent Residency.
Requirement / Conditions of Scholarship
- Student must enrol as a full-time student and commence studies in semester 2 2017.
- Student must maintain satisfactory academic progress.
- The scholarship will be for tuition fees.
- Students must pay the remaining balance of their tuition on or before the start of each semester.
- The scholarship is neither transferrable for cash, nor refundable and cannot be transferred to another person or education provider.
- Students must abide by any student code of conduct or by-laws of their education provider.
- Scholarship winners will be recognized by the Northern Territory government and have the opportunity to network with government, business and community representatives in the Northern Territory during their studies.
