Overview

In partnership with the Crawford School of Public Policy, the ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods is developing a Policy Experiments Lab (PELab).

This resource will bring together evaluation experts from across the ANU to work on quantitative evaluations with an experimental or quasi-experimental design. To support this development, the ANU is seeking an early or mid-career researcher who is interested in building a career working with the public sector to help design, evaluate, and publish policy-relevant trials in the social sciences.

Requirements / Qualifications

  1. The successful applicant will have very strong econometric or statistical skills, and be experienced working with administrative and/or survey datasets.
  2. There will be a heavy focus on publishing in leading academic journals, as well as having direct policy impact.
