The University of Arizona is a public research university. It is situated in Tucson, Arizona.  It was founded in 1885 and was the first university in the Arizona Territory.

The University is offering International Tuition Awards.

Nationality:  open to international students.

Scholarship Value: The tuition award consists of $4,000 – $24,000 per academic year for freshers or $5,000 per academic year for transfer students.

Level of study: Bachelor Degree program

Number of Scholarships:  limited number of merit-based scholarships would be provided

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • As described under Arizona’s Proposition 300 the applicants would be required to verify their lawful presence.
  • Semesters without lawful presence verified will be lost and counted against the scholarship’s total eight semesters.
  • Meet the criteria from the charts above. Refer to the website.
  • Non-degree seeking, exchange, and conditionally admitted students are not eligible to apply for the program.
  • Sponsored students are not eligible.
  • However, if sponsorship is for years 2 to 4 only, a one-time award may be applied per the charts above.

Note:
The recipients must accept their award by paying their enrollment fee by 1st May for freshers and by 1st June for transfer students.
