ASEAN Scholarship is giving   opportunities for the people from developing countries, like countries situated in the Indo-Pacific region. This facilitates to complete undergraduate or postgraduate study at Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions. These Scholarships are offered for the individual to complete the academic program specified by the Australian higher education institution and any preparatory training. The following benefits commonly apply are-

  • Complete tuition fees
  • Economy class airfare to and from Australia
  • single contribution towards accommodation expenses, text books, study materials
  • Contribution to Living Expenses (CLE) –basic living expenses paid at a rate determined by the sector.
  • Introductory Academic Program (IAP)–a compulsory program before the commencement of academic studies
  • Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) ,covers the scholar’s basic medical costs
  • Pre-course English (PCE) fees–available for students for in country or in Australia training
  • Additional support can be provided to confirm a scholar’s academic success
