The Faculty of Science, The Department of Computer Science , Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam invites online applications from eligible experienced and passionate AI researcher for filling up the Assistant Professor position in Hybrid Intelligence to research on Hybrid Intelligence in the Knowledge Representation and Reasoning group of our Computer Science department, and will teach courses of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Information Sciences education programs. Selected candidates will work in an internationally renowned research group on Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, part of a Computer Science department.

Position: Assistant Professor

Location: AMSTERDAM.

Salary: € 3,637. – and a maximum € 4,978,- in accordance with salary scale 11.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree (Ph.D. degree) in Artificial Intelligence or other relevant field with a strong international research profile, as shown by publications in the top journal with C1 level in both Dutch and English on the longer term. and conferences academic teaching experience and/or experience in the supervision of MSc/PhD students. Candidates who have successfully applied for research funding, either individually or collaboratively will be preferred.
