A position of an Associate Professor in electronics and sensor technology is vacant at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy. As a Prof in the department, contribution to shape technologists and engineers for the future will be required. Moreover, development of the education and research program in electrical engineering will also be taken over as prof.
Qualifications:
- Applicants with a PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related discipline are eligible.
- Applicant must be committed to excellence in teaching at both UG and PG levels.
- Applicants having solid publication record will have an advantage.
- Applicant must have good collaborative skills.
Selection criteria:
The evaluation will be based upon:
- Letter of motivation
- CV
- up to 5 selected research articles
- research proposal/vision (up to 6 pages)
- interview, trial lecture, along with pedagogical and administrative experience
- All submitted documents must be in English.
Salary:
- Salary grade 57 – 101 in the Norwegian State salary scale
- Gross NOK 488 900–1 269 500/year depending on qualifications.
- The position provides for automatic membership and deduction of 2 % in The Norwegian Public Pension Fund (SPK).
