BSC-CNS (Barcelona Supercomputing Center–Centro Nacional de Supercomputación) is the National Supercomputing Facility in Spain. The aim of BSC-CNS is to study, develop and manage information technology in order to facilitate scientific progress. With this aim, special dedication has been taken to areas such as Computer Sciences, Life Sciences, Earth Sciences and Computational Applications in Science and Engineering.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must hold Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related discipline).
  • Applicant must have familiarity with Cloud and Green computing
  • Applicant must have hands-on experience with virtualization and/or containers.
  • Applicant is expected to have basic knowledge in resource management in distributed systems; Linux server administration; experience in Java and Web Services programming; software design patterns and web application frameworks; machine learning
  • Applicant must demonstrate keen interest on enrolling in a master or doctoral program will be also valued.
  • Applicant must possess excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
