Biochemists and Physicists (Postdoctoral Position) 1946 views

The Department of Systemic Cell Biology (Prof. Dr. Bastiaens) at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Physiology is offering a postdoctoral position to work in an interdisciplinary team of biochemists and physicists towards reconstituting life-like systems from biochemical building blocks.

Requirements:
  • Applications are open to enthusiastic, inquisitive and creative individual with a degree in Life Sciences and a PhD in Biochemistry.
  • Applicant should have extensive experience with protein biochemistry, purification and enzymology and has a keen interest in understanding biochemical reaction dynamics.
  • Applicant must have experience in lipid biochemistry and has basic knowledge about microscopic imaging technologies.

Duration: limited to 2 years

Starting date: available immediately
