BioImplant Innovative Training Network (ITN) is a European Industrial Doctorate (EID) programme that will provide world-class multidisciplinary skills to 12 Early-Stage Researchers through an integrated research & training programme in the area of bioabsorbable medical implant development.
About the programme:
- The programme vision of the BioImplant ITN is to develop improved bioabsorbable materials for medical implant applications and deliver technical, interdisciplinary, and transferrable skills training to the Early-Stage Researchers throughout all stages of the development process.
Remuneration:
- Living Allowance of €3110/month
- Mobility allowance of €600/month
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant must have obtained a Degree in the area of Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Material Science/Engineering or Physics (or related disciplines).
- Applicants, at the time of recruitment by the host, must be in the first four years (full-time equivalent) of their research careers.
- International mobility of researchers: at the time of appointment by the host organisation, researchers must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of their host organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to their recruitment.
- English language: ESR candidates must demonstrate that their ability to understand and express themselves in both written and spoken English. Non-native English speakers are required to provide evidence of English language competency before the appointment is made. An IELTS score of 6.5, or equivalent, is the minimum requirement.
