Biosciences (Molecular Biology): Researcher position, UiO 1119 views

A position of Researcher in Department of Biosciences (Molecular Biology) is vacant and now accepting applications from qualified scholars. The project main aim will be on the functional characterization of novel human protein methyltransferases.

Qualifications:

  • Applicant is expected to be in the upper segment of their class with respect to academic credentials.
  • Applicant must have Doctorate degree or other corresponding education equivalent in molecular biology/ cell biology/ biochemistry/Biosciences.
  • Applicant must be highly motivated and skilled researcher with broad and extensive experience within one or more of the following areas: molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, and protein chemistry.
  • Applicants with prior experience with protein-modifying enzymes will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Applicant must have good command of English.

Salary:

  • Position code 1109
  • Pay Grade: 57–65 (NOK 483 700–560 700/year, depending on qualifications and seniority).
