The Institute of Cancer Research (London) has two fully-funded PhD studentships open.
Duration of the research: The successful candidates will undertake a 4 year research training programme under the guidance of a supervisory team of world-class researchers.
Studentship Value: Students receive an annual stipend of £21,000; fees and laboratory and project costs for 4 years.
Eligibility
- Applicant must possess or expect to receive a degree in a relevant subject either an undergraduate degree (at UK Ist or Upper IInd class honours level, or an overseas qualification of equivalent standard) or
- Applicant must hold Master’s degree; either a UK Master’s or an overseas qualification of equivalent standard).
- Applicants must have experience of relevant laboratory or research work (referees must be able to comment on applicant’s research experience).
- Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate a proficiency in English (equivalent to IELTS score of 7.0, with a minimum of 6 in any one component. Students without a valid IETLS score should have either education experience in English (minimum One year) or work experience (minimum 18 months), and be able to satisfy Home Office visa criteria where necessary.
