Postdoc Fellow position in Cell Biology is available at the Vannini group of Institute of Cancer Research (Ref:1557625). The postdoc position is available immediately with Dr. Alessandro Vannini.
Cell Biology: Postdoc – Requirements:
- Highly motivated and creative
- Strong interest in cancer biology.
- A PhD degree (or equivalent) in cell biology or other related disciplines
- Have an experience with the following techniques:
- functional genomics via next generation sequencing,
- genome editing with CRISPR,
- 3D cell culture and
- tissue culture/engineering
Work Involved: Use of structural biology techniques and functional analysis (in vitro & in vivo) to elucidate the role of RNA Polymerase III transcription apparatus in cancer.
The research group is a dynamic research team with excellent collaborators and lab facilities. The Postdoctoral Training Fellow will work independently and will supervise a higher scientific officer in order to establish a complete research plan aiming to uncover the role of RNA Polymerase III role in cancer and exploit its potential therapeutic potential
