CELLEX-ICFO-MPQ: 4 Postdoctoral positions 823 views

The Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO) and Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics (MPQ) collaborating to establish a strategic research association about research topics of common interests and is funded by Fundació Privada Cellex, a private philanthropic foundation created in Barcelona by Dr Pere Mir i Puig (CELLEX-ICFO-MPQ).

In this call, up to 4 postdoctoral research positions for project-collaborations within the Cellex  ICFO – MPQ Fellowships of 24-months duration is being offered.

Requirements:
  • Applicant must possess an internationally recognized PhD-degree at the time of the application deadline, or provide evidence of its completion in the next 3 months (required before the start of the fellowship)
  • Applicant must have an outstanding track-record, measured in terms of academic achievements and research publications.
  • There are NO restrictions of citizenship.

  • An updated complete Curriculum Vitae, including full list of publications,
  • A copy of the PhD degree (if available at the time of application), or certificate stating the planned award date of the PhD degree.
  • The names and contact details of 2 referees.
  • IMPORTANT: These referees will be automatically contacted by ICFO requesting them to upload a reference letter into the system. When they do so, the applicant will receive an email confirming that the corresponding reference letter has been submitted. Candidates are responsible for ensuring that referees submit these letters.
