CEU/HESP Research Excellence Fellowship: Central European University (CEU) invites applications for the Research Excellence Fellowship program for the A.Y. 2018-19.

Duration: 3 to 6 months (one or two consecutive terms at CEU)

Fellowship value:

  • travel costs to/from Budapest, accommodations; stipend of 5,000 USD for one term and 10,000 USD for two terms

Eligibility:

  • Applicant can be of any country of the Global South;
  • Applicants must be employed (full-time or part-time), in the teaching or academic research institution in their home country at the time of application.
  • Applicant must hold PhD or equivalent degree and have a considerable research record in an area that falls under one or more CEU academic units

  • photocopy of PhD certificate or equivalent credentials in one pdf file
  • application along with all materials must be sent via e-mail to Research_Fellowship@ceu.edu
  • quote in subject of email “VRF 2017 + last name”
  • One reference letter, printed on an official letterhead of the home institution of the referee, and include referee’s signature and complete contact information.
