Chalmers: Postdoc in Ultrafast Plasmonic Hydrogen Sensors: The Langhammer group at the Chemical Physics Divison at the Department of Physics, Chalmers invites online applications from experienced researcher for Postdoc in Ultrafast Plasmonic Hydrogen Sensors. The Langhammer group at the Chemical Physics Divison at the Department of Physics operates at the interface between materials science, nanoscience, catalysis, nanoplasmonics and in situ spectroscopy, with a particular focus on sustainable energy-related materials, nanosensors, nanoparticles and catalysis.

About position: Main focus of this project funded by the Swedish Energy Agency is on further improving the compatibility of our hydrogen sensor chips with humid environments and with a wide temperature range, as well as to integrated them with Insplorion AB’s commercial sensor platform and testing them in Powercell’s fuel cell solutions.

Position: Postdoc.

Duration: maximum of two years

Salary: As per norms.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates must have PhD Degree in either Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Chemistry having experience with computer programming using Python or MATLAB or Chemistry. Candidates are required experienced with experimental work in the area of sensors in at least one of the sensors based on nanotechnology/nanomaterials OR nanoplasmonic optical sensors. Candidate must also be highly proficient in Swedish and English.
