Coordinator/project engineer development at NMF-NIOZ: The National Marine Research Facilities (NMF) department of the Royal NIOZ is responsible for the development and maintenance of high-quality marine research instruments and facilitates national marine scientific research on board our research vessels worldwide. Royal NIOZ invites applications from highly motivated candidates for filling up the Coördinator/project engineer development position on contract basis for a period of 1 year.

About the Position: Selected candidates will responsible for the results, planning, budget and performance of the development department and you are responsible for the continuous development of the expertise of both yourself and the department, will manage the development department of NMF in close cooperation with the head of NMF also will responsible for the implementation of projects and for the development and application of new equipment for seagoing research.

Location: Royal NIOZ Texel (The Netherlands)

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have Bachelor of Science degree in marine technology like electronics, mechatronics or (fine) mechanical engineering and must speak Dutch and English fluently having experience with the development of sea-going equipment.
