CSIRO Postdoctoral Fellowship-Biomaterials: CSIRO including polymer scientists, biomaterials engineers and cell biologists within CSIRO’s Biomedical Manufacturing and Advanced Fibres & Chemical Industries, invites online applications from outstanding eligible candidates for filling up the following Postdoctoral Fellows positions : Bioinspired Membranes-in vitro Modelling of the Huma. The project will also be undertaken in partnership with eye disease and tissue engineering researchers at the Centre for Eye Research, University of Melbourne (Alice Pebay).

Position: Postdoctoral Fellows

Salary: $82k to $93k plus up to 15.4% superannuation

Duration: Upto 3 years

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have PhD Degree (doctoral degree) (or will shortly satisfy the requirements of a PhD) in a relevant discipline area, such as biomaterials/polymer sciences/tissue engineering and Experience in mammalian cell culture and aseptic handling techniques, polymer chemistry, surface modification and materials characterisation with High level written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to fabricate biomaterials from synthetic and/or natural polymers.
