Dalai Lama Fellowship 1007 views

Dalai Lama Fellowship program has grown to more than 100 individuals across 25 nationalities, constituting an active global leadership network that serves as a continuing resource for next generation leadership. The program focused on next-generation leaders.

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be enrolled in undergraduate and graduate schools at the time of applying and who intend to be enrolled and on campus during their Fellowship year.
  • Applicant must fall in the age group between 20-35 years.
  • In exceptional cases applications from individuals that are no longer enrolled in school but that fall in this age range and that are committed to work in social change are accepted.

Selection criteria:

Applicants are selected based on:

  • their self-awareness
  • their ability to connect to and have concern for others, even when their our differences
  • their ability to recognize our interdependence by connecting with communities and people beyond their immediate project or local community

  • increasing gender equity
  • mitigating economic disparity
  • enhancing environmental sustainability
