DBT-VINNOVA, Sweden: Joint call for proposals 2085 views

DBT-VINNOVA: The IIIrd joint call is announced for proposals between The Department of Biotechnology, Government of India (DBT) and the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems (VINNOVA). DBT and the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems have agreed to launch a joint call for proposals during 2016-2017 to promote Indo-Swedish research and innovation cooperation.

Indian and Swedish industry and researchers are invited in both private and public sectors to submit joint project applications for collaborative research and innovation projects.

Duration: The cooperative project period shall be 3 to 4 years in total

Eligibility:

• Applications are invited from Indian and Swedish industry, researchers and public or private nonprofit institutions that develop and perform Research & Development activities.
• This includes universities and other academic institutions, research institutions, hospitals, non- governmental organizations and public foundations.

Scientific Areas for proposals:

1. Medical diagnostics
2. Medical devices
3. Antimicrobial resistance – Innovative treatment, diagnostics and
4. preventive strategies
5. eHealth for OneHealth
6. Innovative food, improving health promotion and disease prevention
