Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden) and Dresden Center Computational Materials Science (DCMS) invites applications for its International Summer School. The focus area for the summer school is “Deep Materials: Perspectives on data-driven materials research”.

About the summer school:
  • Duration: 19.08. 2019 – 23 .08. 2019
  • Location: main campus of TUD
  • This summer school will provide an overview of current deve- lopments in data-driven materials science – with a particular focus on Machine Learning and modern numerical approaches – and will offer a platform for discussions about future perspectives.
  • The summer school is open to Master students, PhD students and (early-stage) Postdocs
  • Candidates must be interested in or working on topics related to machine learning and data driven materials science.
  • Up to 10 excellent students, all-inclusive grants (travel support, accommodation, and participation) will be available

  • CV with list of publications (if any)
  • One reference letter (at least) from your supervisor
  • title and abstract of scientific contribution (poster or contributed talk)
  • The results will be announced in July.
