DCU Institute of Education, The School of Language, Literacy and Early Childhood Education, DCU invited applications from eligible candidates to recruit an Assistant Professor in Education (Teagasc na Gaeilge) for 3 year Fixed Term on Contract basis to work collaboratively as a member of the Teagasc na Gaeilge team. The postholder will be required to undertake the following mandatory compliance training: Orientation, Health & Safety and Data Protection (GDPR). Selected candidates candidate will also undertake administrative functions related to the activities of the School of Language, Literacy and Early Childhood Education.

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have a strong background in language learning, curriculum and pedagogy in relation to Teagasc na Gaeilge and minimum of 3 years’ relevant teaching experience at primary/post-primary level, Excellent Irish language skills is essential. Candidates with doctoral level, in Education in areas related to Teagasc na Gaeilge will be preferred.
