DCU:Assistant Professor (Faculty) in Education: Dublin City University (DCU) is an equal opportunities employer and holds an Athena SWAN bronze award. DCU Institute of Education, The School of Language, Literacy and Early Childhood Education, DCU invited applications from eligible candidates to recruit an Assistant Professor in Education (Teagasc na Gaeilge) for 3 year Fixed Term on Contract basis to work collaboratively as a member of the Teagasc na Gaeilge team. The postholder will be required to undertake the following mandatory compliance training: Orientation, Health & Safety and Data Protection (GDPR). Selected candidates candidate will also undertake administrative functions related to the activities of the School of Language, Literacy and Early Childhood Education.

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have a strong background in language learning, curriculum and pedagogy in relation to Teagasc na Gaeilge and minimum of 3 years’ relevant teaching experience at primary/post-primary level, Excellent Irish language skills is essential. Candidates with doctoral level, in Education in areas related to Teagasc na Gaeilge will be preferred.
