The Research Center for Bioscience and Nanoscience (CeBN), Research Institute for Marine Resources Utilization (MRU), Deep-Sea Nanoscience Research Group at Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) is recruiting a total of two positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher (BKP-001).

About the position:
  • The successful applicant will carry out research on the nanoemulsification process using the unique properties of supercritical water
  • The successful applicant will carry out research on clean chemical processes using an on-chip micro-flow-reactor operating at high temperature and pressure, and on the synthesis of functional nanomaterials using the above processes.

Requirements:

  • Applicants are required to have been awarded or expect to have obtained a Ph.D. in a related field by the date of employment.

  • Applicants may be of any nationality and either gender is encouraged to apply.

Duration: April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021.
