DESY Postdoc fellowship programme in Experimental particle physics 1230 views

Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) invites applications for DESY fellowship programme in Experimental particle physics. The selected candidate will get to participate in the LHC experiments ATLAS and CMS, the BELLE II experiment at KEK, the ALPS II experiment at DESY, the preparation of experiments at the future International Linear Collider ILC and in the R&D programme for particle detectors.

The fellowships in experimental particle physics are awarded twice a year.

Requirements:

• Applicant must have completed PhD within the last 4 years
• Applicants who have not yet finished PhD, but can ensure that he/she can start fellowship within six months after the candidate have been offered a fellowship position are also encouraged to apply (in exceptional circumstances).

Duration: 2 years with a possibility of extension by one additional year
