Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for Faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professors in various Departments.

Departments:

• Aerospace Engg.: Aerospace Structures, Aerospace Propulsion
• Mechanical Engg: Thermal / Heat & Mass Transfer, Robotics / Mechatronics
• Electronics Engg: Signal Processing/Detection & Estimation Theory, VLSI & Embedded Systems/Digital Electronics/ Digital Communication/ Communications & RF Systems

Qualifications:

Aerospace Engg.

Essential:

• D. Degree with 60% marks at Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in relevant branch of Engg.
• The candidate must possess Masters Degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engg with Aerospace Structures or Aerospace propulsion as specialisation.
• Candidates possess at least one degree [i.e. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree] in Aerospace / Aeronautical Engg with Aerospace Structures as specialisation will also be considered.
• Three years post Ph.D experience in R&D / Academics/ Industry.

Desirable:

• Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; At least 02 papers in refereed international journals

Mechanical Engg:

Essential:

• D. Degree with 60% marks at Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engg. with Thermal / Heat & Mass Transfer or Robotics/Mechatronics as specialisation.
• Three years post Ph.D experience in R&D / Academics/ Industry.

Desirable:

• Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; At least 02 papers in refereed international journals.

Electronics Engg:

Essential:

• D. Degree with 60% marks at Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Electronics Engg. with specialisations (a) Signal Processing/ Detection & Estimation Theory, (b) VLSI & Embedded Systems / Digital Electronics / Digital Communication / Communications & RF Systems.
• Three years post Ph.D experience in R&D / Academics/ Industry.

Desirable:

• Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; At least 02 papers in refereed international journals.

Salary (Pre revised): Academic Level 10 with rationalized entry pay of `57,700/- (Revised-VIIth CPC).
