The University of Luxembourg is inviting applications for its Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication (FSTC) for a Doctoral candidate (PhD-Student) in Engineering Sciences (M/F) in the project Energizing Education to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions (ENERGE).
About the position:
- The successful applicant will work on the EU funded NWE-INTERREG project “Energizing Education to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions (ENERGE)” as part of a European consortium. The doctoral student will be a member of the Doctoral School for Science and Engineering (DSSE) offering a doctoral Program in Engineering Sciences aiming to provide interdisciplinary and internationally competitive research training.
- Cooperate with several secondary schools in Luxembourg, with Public Building Administration (ABP) and other National Ministries
- Disseminate your results in scientific publications/ conferences
Duration: Fixed-term contract 14 months, extendable up to 48 months in total
Requirements:
- Master-degree in Engineering or Physics, with interest for Energy Efficiency of Buildings with very good study results
- Applicant must be well verse with German, English and ideally also Luxembourgish, French
