KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm invited online applications from eligible candidate for filling up the position of Doctoral students in microfluidics for characterization of plastics within MONPLAS (a highly multi/inter-disciplinary doctoral-level training network) controlled by Prof. Aman Russom and Assoc Prof. Håkan Jönsson.

About the position: In research “The training of early stage researchers for the development of technologies to MONitor concentrations of micro and nanoPLAStics in water for their presence, uptake and threat to animal and human life” the ESRs at KTH will create size based microfluidic continuous particle separation methods, established on inertial focusing (ESR3) and filter using filters with various pore sizes (ESR4).

Salary: As per norms.

Duration: 1 year and repeated for a max of 2 years at a time

Qualifications: Interested candidates must have MSc degree in Biotechnology and Max 4 years’ experience in the research field. Candidates with prior experience in ethnographic fieldwork: observations, video data, interviews & participant observation will be preferred.
