Doctoral Position in Computer and Information Science 782 views

The Department of Computer and Information Science at University of Konstanz has open doctoral position for two years and can be prolonged after this initial phase. The start date will be 15 October 2020 or by agreement. The position is in the field of Information Visualization. The position is in the project “Perceptual Methods for Information Visualization”. The project is in collaboration with Qingdao University (China, Prof. Yunhai Wang), applicants will travel to our partner university from time to time (good English skills are enough for these visits).

Requirements:

  • Strong written and oral communications skills are required in English and German language
  • Applicant must possess a scientific graduate degree (Master’s level) in Computer Science or a related field with excellent grades
  • Experience with computer graphics and/or information visualization
  • Strong Motivation
  • Very good communication skills and the ability for teamwork
