The Industrial Engineering and Management research unit at University of Oulu is looking for a talented and motivated Doctoral student for a 4-year position. The research will concentrate on Industrial value chain development to enable higher inorganic side stream utilization.

Responsibilities:

• Clean production ecosystems, sustainable business models, value and supply chains based on inorganic side streams, as well as technology productization and commercialization and product life cycle management.

Requirements:

• Candidate must be a team player with good analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
• Applicant must have a Master of Science or equivalent degree in industrial engineering and management or in a closely related field with very good/excellent grades
• Practical familiarity with the field in question and international activities
