The Faculty of Science conducts research and education within Biology, Astronomy, Physics, Geosciences, Chemistry, Mathematics and Environmental Sciences. 

Overview

Operation of time-resolved spectroscopy set-ups; development and optimization of Pump – RePump addition to the set-up; investigation of ultra-fast dynamics in Fe-based transition metal complexes; coherent control measurements of energy dissipation pathways in selected Fe-based transition metal complexes by means of existing experimental facilities; analysis of conventional, Pump – RePump and coherent control experimental data; Active participation in the collaborations within Fe-carbenes scientific consortium.

Required Qualifications

  1. Master degree in physics, chemical physics, molecular spectroscopy, optics or equivalent;
  2. Experience in time-resolved spectroscopy, Experience in data analysis; Communication skills.
  3. Proficiency in oral and written English.

Eligibility

Students with basic eligibility for third-cycle studies are those who- have completed a second-cycle degree- have completed courses of at least 240 credits, of which at least 60 credits are from second-cycle courses, or- have acquired largely equivalent knowledge in some other way, in Sweden or abroad.

Type of employment: Limit of tenure, four years according to HF 5 kap 7§.
