DTU-ESA Facility at the Department of Electrical Engineering is seeking a highly experienced or highly talented scholar for a Senior Research Scientist or Research Scientist position. Selected candidate will have an important role in developing the field of antenna measurements and the DTU-ESA Facility at the Department of Electrical Engineering. The Spherical Near-Field Antenna Test Facility is functioned under the Department of Electrical Engineering as an external reference lab for the European Space Agency (ESA).
Responsibilities and tasks:
The main responsibilities and tasks of the position are:
- Conduct high-accuracy spherical near-field antenna measurements
- Maintain and develop the antenna measurement capability and expertise
- Perform research and development projects in the field of antenna measurements for publications in journals and at conferences
- Establish contact and collaborations with internal and external partners
- Participate to antenna measurement projects with external partners; in particular with ESA
- Participate to teaching activities and supervise student projects
Qualifications requirements:
- Applicant must hold Doctorate degree or equivalent.
- Applicant for a Senior Research Scientist position must hold experience as assistant professor, researcher, postdoc or similar qualifications.
- Didactic/pedagogic training is anticipated but not compulsory.
