Educational Sciences: Postdoc Position, UiO 1099 views

A position as Postdoctoral Fellow is vacant at the Department of Teacher Education and School Research. The appointment is for a 3 years. The position is associated to the research project LEXEL–Legal Standards and Professional Judgement in Educational Leadership. The project is funded by the Research Council of Norway 2012-16. The project is under the supervision of project leader of LEXEL, Professor Jorunn Møller.

Qualification:

  • Applicant must have a PhD or a degree equivalent to a Norwegian PhD in education or in another relevant discipline.
  • Applicants who have not yet defended their thesis; must submit their PhD work for assessment before the closing date for applications.
  • Appointment to the postdoc position is dependent on the public defense of the PhD thesis being approved.

Assessment: assessment is based on the following points:

  • quality of the project description
  • project’s relation with the fields of research in LEXEL
  • publications & academic and personal qualifications for conducting the project
  • Personal appropriateness and motivation for the post
  • Good skills to associate nationally and internationally and to contribute to the improvement of knowledge in the area.
