EPFL: 24 International Postdoctoral fellowships 4524 views

EPFL invites applications from qualified scholars for international postdoctoral fellowship program. Total 24 fellowships will be funded for maximum duration of 24 months every year per call. Fellowships may be held in any scientific discipline within the EPFL.

Location: Switzerland, at the EPFL campus in Lausanne, Neuchâtel, Valais or Fribourg.

Duration: 2 years and cannot be extended

Eligibility criteria

• Applicant can be of any nationality.
• Candidate must have doctoral degree from a recognized university or expecting to obtain a PhD degree by the time of employment, or have at least 4 years of full-time equivalent research experience.
• Candidate must fulfill the international mobility rules: must not have stayed or carried out their main activity like work, studies, etc. in Switzerland for more than 1 year in the three years immediately prior to the last date for the submission of proposals.
• Re-integration candidates should not have stayed or carried out their main activity in Switzerland for more than a year in the three years immediately prior to the closing date for the submission of proposals, and must show at least two years of experience in research at the postdoctoral level in any other country, by the time they submit the application.
• Candidates must have arranged in advance a research plan with a host laboratory at the EPFL.
