ESRC-SWDTP Postdoctoral Fellowships 1423 views

The South West Doctoral Training Partnership (SWDTP) is now accepting applications for ESRC-funded postdoctoral fellowships to start in October 2019. The fellowships are meant to support researchers at the immediate postdoctoral stage of their career. The fellowships aim to support researchers wishing to study at any of the SWDTP’s five partner institutions through developing publications, networks and research and professional skills.

Duration of fellowships: up to one year full-time, or up to two years part-time

Requirements:

  • Applications are open to applicants holding PhD at a research organization that is part of a DTP or CDT and who are within 12 months of completing their PhD.
  • Applicant must have been awarded a PhD or have passed their viva voce with minor amendments by the application deadline of 22nd March 2019 and have been awarded their PhD by the fellowship start date of 1st October 2019.
  • Applicant not to have more than 12 months active postdoctoral experience since passing their viva voce (allowing for career breaks) by 22nd March 2019.
  • The period of active postdoctoral experience should be calculated from the viva voce being passed to the closing date of 22nd March 2019.
