European Forum Alpbach Scholarship Programme: European Forum Alpbach Scholarship Programme
The European Forum Alpbach was founded in 1945 by Otto Molden. More than 4,000 people from over 70 countries accept the invitation to participate in the European Forum Alpbach each year.
Applications are invited for Alpbach Scholarship Programme. The programme consists of interdisciplinary conference and a variety of academic seminars.
The Alpbach Symposia is available to international applicants up to the age of 30.
Duration of the event: 15.08.2018 to 31.08.2018
Level of Study: Scholarships are available to attend leading interdisciplinary conference and a variety of academic seminars.

Scholarship Benefits: The scholarship covers mainly:
- The participation fee (EUR 1.400) for the whole duration of the event
- If the applicant does not have sufficient funds to cover the costs of his/her stay, one can additionally apply for a full scholarship providing accommodation (EUR 510) and a daily allowance for food (EUR 289).
- The candidate must clearly indicate in the online application if he/she wishes to be considered for a full scholarship or not.
- If the applicant can provide proof of financial support for the studies, he/she do not need to explain the financial situation in writing.
- In that case relevant proof (e.g. student grant) should be included in the application form.
Nationality: Citizens of all nationalities are eligible to apply.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The scholarships is open for people up to 30 years of age.
- Candidates from all academic disciplines and from all countries (except Austria) can apply.
- Even artists and non-graduates would be more than welcome to apply.
