Position 1: Faculty position in Area- Environmental Laws/Business and Infrastructure Laws

Requirements / Qualifications:

  1. D. in Law preferably on a topic related to environmental law or business/infrastructure law;
  2. M. from a reputed institution;
  3. Advance knowledge of subjects related to environment and infrastructure.
  4. A minimum teaching/research experience of five years is required in the case of Associate Professor.
  5. Should have reviewed publications, conceptualizing & undertaking sponsored research, educational motivation and design of new courses and curricula.

 Position description:

  1. The person will be expected to contribute to teaching in courses related to master’s level programs of the University.
  2. He/She would be required to conduct academic and sponsored research, supervise masters & doctoral theses work and
  3. Effectively work in an inter-disciplinary environment.

Position 2: PhD positions, SMB laboratory, TU-DBT at the research group ‘Structural and Molecular Biology’ at Department of Biotechnology, TERI University.

Position description:

  1. Selected candidates will work on proteins involved in synthesis & processing of mycolic acids in Mycobacterium tuberculosis and/or resistance mechanisms adapted by pathogenic microbes (Helicobacter pylori, Streptococcus pneumonia, M. tuberculosis,), biofilm formation by pathogens under the guidance of Dr.Chaithanya Madhurantakam (Ramalingaswamy fellow).

Eligibility Criteria: Aspiring candidates should have a Master or an equivalent degree in Biochemistry or Chemistry or Biophysics or Biotechnology or Life Sciences and interested in pursuing their career in Structural Biology.

Note: Preference will be given only to candidates with CSIR/ ICMR/ DBT/ DST/ UGC fellowships or students who can self-sponsor.

Position 3: Project Associate: (01) and Project Assistant: (01):

TERI University invites applications for the posts – Project Associate & Project Assistant, under a project on climate modelling.

Number of Posts: Project Associate: 1 [Full time] and Project Assistant: 1 [Part time]

Area: Advanced climate research & modelling

Duration: Six months (extendable up to a year)

Required qualification: (for Project Associate)

1. Masters in Geoinformatics or Physics or Computer Science or Geography with good academic record.

2. Desirable: Experience in MATLAB programming along with cognition of climate and remote sensing modelling.

  1. Required qualification:

A: Project Assistant

1. Any degree with experience in MATLAB programming along with knowledge of climate modelling using remote sensing.

  1. Desirable: Knowledge climate and remote sensing modelling.
