Overview:

About the position:
- This full-time instructor (non-tenure track) will be responsible for teaching lower division lecture and laboratory courses.
- A face-to-face 100-level lecture course and several labs will be included in the teaching load.
- The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester; some assigned courses may be taught on-line, hybrid, or via distance delivery modalities.
- This position is for the Spring 2021 semester only.

Eligibility criteria:
Required:
- Master’s or Ph. D. in chemistry or a closely related discipline.
- Ability and desire to teach lower-division chemistry lecture and laboratory courses
- Effective teaching, enthusiasm for working with and an ability to inspire undergraduate students, and effective communication skills are required
Preferred:
- Experience as the instructor of record for collegiate-level chemistry
- Experience teaching general chemistry lecture and lab
