Falling Walls Lab is a unique competition that provides young researchers and entrepreneurs a platform to present their research project business plan or social initiative.

The challenge is to present this in just 3 minutes!

About the challenge:

  • The winner gets to compete with Falling Walls Lab winners (100 International winners!) from across the world at the global Lab finale that takes place in Berlin in November, and also gets a ticket to the prestigious Falling Walls Conference in Berlin where leaders from science, industry and policy-making meet.

Requirements:

  • Applications are open for outstanding scholars, researchers, scientists, entrepreneurs, young professionals, and innovators.
  • All disciplines welcome
  • Applicant must be 18 years or older when submitting application.
  • Applicant must be currently enrolled in university
  • Applicant currently to be a postdoc
  • Applicant must have received a Bachelor’s degree no more than 10 years ago
  • Applicant must have received a Master’s degree no more than 7 years ago
  • Applicant must have received a PhD no more than 5 years ago

* An MD (medical degree excl. a doctoral dissertation) is considered equivalent to a Master’s degree. A Dr. med. (medical degree incl. a doctoral dissertation) is considered equivalent to a PhD.
