The Forum on Indian Traditional Medicine (FITM), established at Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) in collaboration with the Ministry of AYUSH is offering FITM -AYUSH Research Fellowships Scheme.

Duration:
- Doctoral Fellowships: two years
- Postdoctoral Fellowship: one year
Fellowship value:
- Doctoral Research Fellowship: Lumpsum amount maximum of INR 5/- lakh per year.
- Postdoctoral Fellowship: Lumpsum amount maximum of INR 7.5/- lakh per year.
Eligibility
- Research Fellowships are open to scholars with educational backgrounds in any of the AYUSH disciplines.
- Additional qualification in any other specialisation, especially IT, is desirable.
- Outstanding candidates from other disciplines may be considered.
- Doctoral Research Fellowship applicant should be a full time PhD scholar in any UGC recognised Indian University, deemed University /Institute.
- Postdoctoral Research Fellowship applicant should have obtained his/her PhD degree at the time of application for the Fellowship.
- Age Limit: max 28 years for Doctoral Research Fellowship and for Post-Doctoral Fellows should not be more than 35 years of age (relaxable upto 5 years in case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/scheduled tribes/OBC, physically challenged and female applicants)
