Ford Foundation, through its program of Fellowships, offers Postdoctoral fellowships for students from US.

Number of Postdoctoral Awards: This year the program will award approx. 24 postdoc fellowships. These fellowships grants support for one year to individuals engaged in postdoctoral study after the completion of the Ph.D. or Doctor of Science (Sc.D.) degree.

Stipend & Benefits: $45,000 for One year

Duration:

  • 9 months and max. 12 months
  • fellowships may not be deferred or delayed

Eligibility:

  • Fellowships are open to all citizens, nationals, and permanent residents (holders of a Permanent Resident Card) of the US, and individuals granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program, regardless of race, national origin, religion, gender, age, disability, or sexual orientation.
  • Individuals with evidence of superior academic accomplishment (such as grade point average, class rank, honors, or other designations)
  • Individuals committed to a career in teaching and research at the college or university level, and
