Freshwater Biology: PhD Scholarship; DTU Aqua 1680 views

A Doctoral Scholarship in Freshwater Fish Biology is available at the National Institute of Aquatic Resources (DTU Aqua) with starting date December 2016. The scholarship is part of a larger European Union funded project Adaptive Management of Barriers in European Rivers (AMBER). The project will basically be carried out in affiliation to the Section for Freshwater Fisheries and Ecology situated in Silkeborg, Denmark. DTU Aqua is an institute at the Technical University of Denmark.

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must hold M.Sc. degree in Aquatic Science, Biology or similar subject.
  • Applicant with background in Ecology will be preferred.
  • Application with experience with telemetry and migration ecology will hold an advantage.
  • Applicant must have keen interest in research and the field of aquatic sciences.
  • Applicant must have proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Duration: The period of employment is 3 years.
