Full-Time International Research Programmes: IISc 2852 views

Indian Institute of Science (IISc) invites applications exclusively for research programmes leading to M. Tech. (Research) in Engineering and Doctoral (PhD) in Science and Engineering.

Mandatory:

• Applications are open to only those who are NOT citizens of India and are NOT persons of Indian origin.
• Persons of Indian Origin holding Non-Indian passports and Overseas Citizenship of India as per section 7B(1) are also NOT eligible to apply through this mode

Eligibility:

For Ph. D Programme:

• Applicant must hold Master’s Degree or a 4-year Undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline

For M Tech (Research) in Engineering Programme:

• Applicant must hold 4-year Undergraduate Degree in an appropriate discipline

Financial Support

• Recipient will be offered hostel accommodation and a fellowship by the Institute
• This fellowship is usually adequate to pay mandatory tuition fees, hostel, mess fees, subsidized health insurance and cover the student’s living expenses
