Herzog-Ernst-Host Fellowships Program: Doctoral and Postdoctoral 3434 views

Herzog-Ernst-Host Fellowships Program is run by the support provided by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation. The Research Center announces scholarships for the 15th time to doctoral and post-doctoral fellows who plan on utilizing the collections of the Research Library in Gotha.

Duration and value (Herzog-Ernst-Host Fellowships Program):

  • For Ph.D. students: Research scholarships will be granted for periods of up to 9 months @ € 1,100/month
  • For postdoctoral students: scholarships are awarded for up to 06 months @ € 1,600/month.
  • Moreover, institute welcomes applications corresponding to the following grant types:
  • exploration stipends for PhD candidates embarking of their dissertation as well as “text and object” stipends for PhD candidates and postdocs, applying themselves to the relations between texts and objects
  • Applications for “profile stipends” for projects related to one of the research focuses at the Centre are likewise especially welcome
