The Hull York Medical School at University of York invites applications for a Research Fellowship in Immunology funded by the Medical School. This Fellowship is intended to provide a stepping stone for a highly motivated and able early career immunologist to move towards a fully-established, independent and externally-funded research career.
About the fellowship:
- The scheme is open to individuals with an excellent track record in research, based on in vitro or animal models or studies in humans, and is part of an exciting package of appointments in immunology that will be made over the next few years.
- Successful candidates will be expected to pursue an independent programme of innovative research, contribute to and lead on the production of high quality research outputs including high quality publications, present their work to scientific audiences and have a role in the supervision of postgraduate research students.
Requirements:
- Candidate must hold PhD in immunology or related discipline, at least two years of postdoctoral experience.
- Candidate must have an excellent publication record, evidence of independent research and bring expertise in a new area of immunology that complements research interests in the Immunology, Haematology and Infection theme.
