ICAR-IVRI (Indian Council of Agricultural Research – Indian Veterinary Research Institute): 2 SRF positions
Position 1 : Applications are invited for the engagement of 1 Senior Research Fellow (SRF) on purely temporary basis under the project entitled “Genotypic diversity of human, bovine & porcine group A rotaviruses”.
Required Qualification:
Essential:
- V.Sc. in Veterinary Public Health or Biotechnology or Bacteriology or Immunology or Epidemiology or any allied discipline OR
- Sc. in Biotechnology/Microbiology or allied discipline (NET qualification essential for M.Sc. candidates) with two years of research experiance.
- Desirable Working knowledge in virology/molecular biology, nucleotide sequencing & analysis techniques, computer application (Web-searching: MS-Word, Excel, Power point etc.).
Salary / Emoluments: Rs. 28.0007- P M + HRA as per Govt.of India norms.
Duration/Period of the project: up to May, 2020

Position 2 : Applications in the general format are invited for the engagement of SRF purely on contract basis for ‘”Outreach Program on Ethnoveterinary Medicine”.
Required Qualifications:
- Essential: Master degree in Veterinary Med. Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology/Veterinary Biochemistry /Biotechnology/Veterinary Pathology/Veterinary Public Health with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average.
- Desirable: Experience of work in clinical chemistry, extraction, separation of active principles from
medicinal plants. - In vivo testing of activity, phytochemical techniques and handling laboratory
animals with proficiency in computers.
