ICGEB: PDF in Immunology, infectious diseases and Murine model – International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology , was established in 1987. It is an international organization envisaged as a Centre of excellence for research and training with special consideration to the needs of the developing society.
The Centre carry out innovative research in life sciences and allied disciplines, strengthens the research ability of its over 60 Member States through funding programs , training and advisory services. Its centers are located in Italy, India and South Africa and are in collaboration with over 40 different Affiliated Centers worldwide. Senior Research Postdoctoral Fellow under the supervision of the Group Leader, Cytokines and Disease, ICGEB Cape Town for work on host-directed therapy for tuberculosis.
- Requirements / Qualifications: PhD and at least 4-5 years postdoctoral experience in Immunology, infectious diseases and murine model.
