ICTP: Scholarships for Master’s in High Performance Computing 789 views

International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) is offering scholarships for the Master in High Performance Computing (MHPC) programme. The programme is coordinated by ICTP and the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) and is inviting applications for the 2018-2019 academic year.

ICTP is will be providing scholarships for applicants from developing countries.

Requirements
  • The successful student for the MHPC will have strong interest in information technology problems driven by scientific research or industrial needs.
  • Applicant must hold academic Master Degree, although equivalent work experience may also be considered. Work experience will be evaluated during the admissions interview.
  • Applicant must have some experience in programming and a competence in C or C++ or Fortran language.
  • Applicant must possess sound knowledge of Linux operating system.
  • A knowledge of Python language is assumed at the level of the first 39 exercises of the learn python the hard way
Tuition Fee:
  • Applicant considering following the master course without a sponsor, the fee for attending the full course is € 7.000.
