Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and the Centre of Nanotechnology invites applications for Post-Doctoral Fellowship position. Applications are invited from outstanding and enthusiastic researchers for working on a project focused on, Directing iPSCs towards tenogenic lineage using in vitro microenvironment modulators’.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must hold PhD in any branch of Biological/Chemical Sciences.
  • Applicants with strong background and expertise in cell culture, cell based assays, molecular biology techniques, handling of animal models will be preferred.
  • Applicants having knowledge in stem cells and their differentiation, cell-material interaction, polymer processing and characterization would hold an advantage.
  • Applicant must be passionate about working on cutting edge research leading to high impact products and services.
  • Applicant must at least have two SCI publications
  • Applicants who have recently submitted their PhD thesis are also eligible to apply (subject to the condition that they will furnish the proof of award of PhD at the time of interview).

Duration: 2 years; extendable for one more year (if necessary).

Fellowship amount:

  • contingency grant of Rs. 20,000/- per annum
  • consolidated fellowship: Rs. 50,000 per month (First Year); Rs. 55,000/- Per month (Second Year)
