General Introduction

Application for JRF post are invited from Indian citizens for research and development in DBT funded project “Development of Engineered Microalgae for Enhanced Lipid Accumulation” under Guidance of Prof. R.P Singh, Department of Biotechnology, IIT, Roorkee.

Qualifications/ Requirements

M.Sc./M.Tech. Biotechnology/Micro,/Biochem/Mol. Bio./ Life Science or equivalent with 60% marks in Bachelor and Master’s degree and NET/GATE qualified. Working experience with molecular techniques like PCR and Cloning will be preferred. Candidate with experience in microbiological technique and protein isolation and characterization will also be given preference.
