Project Scientists

Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree from a recognized university in Agricultural Sciences in Agricultural Meteorology/Agricultural Physics with at least 60% marks. Desirable:

Doctorate degree in Agricultural Sciences in Agricultural Meteorology/Agricultural Physics.

Experience: Two – Seven years experience in analysis weather events as well as extreme weather in changing climate scenario, its impact, mitigation and adaption in agriculture crop simulation model and decision support tools development with working knowledge using Remote Sensing and GIS software in development of weather based Agromet advisory products.

JRF/SRF:

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Post Graduate Degree in Basic science with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course

Senior Research Fellow(SRF) Qualification Prescribed for JRF with two years of Research experience.

Application Procedure:

Copies of certificates in support of educational qualifications, date of birth, experience, no objection certificates (from present employer, if working), scanned signatures, passport size photograph, etc. should be uploaded during the online application process. Passport size Photograph, Signature should be in .jpg format with file size limit between 10KB to 100KB;
  3. Remaining all certificates should be in .pdf format of each file less than 500 KB..
